Description of the problem | Tl* the contact owns a 2016 honda odyssey. The contact stated that the vehicle was taken to the dealer (rusty wallis honda in dallas, texas, 214-348-7500) for repairs on the second row seats. The dealer stated that there was a software update required for the vehicle. The contact stated that the update was performed; however, when reversing and the sliding door was open, the warning chime would not sound or the sound was very low. The contact returned to the dealer to attempt to reprogram the warning chime and was informed by the service agent that the chime was not adjustable, it was performing as designed, and it could not get any louder. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 25,000. |
