Description of the problem | The tire pressure monitoring system warning came on after seasonal wheel/tire change by tire dealer. Each time that the tire dealer tried to program the honda system it malfunctioned after approximately 24 hours of operation. All parts are of honda manufacture. During the periods of that tpms flashed on the instrument panel one has no way of knowing if tires are safely inflated. I was forced to drive over 200 miles over 3 days in order to reach a honda dealer. The dealer "found tpms sensors were not programmed to vehicle... Reprogrammed sensors". I understand that honda is unique among auto manufacturers in it's tpms system not being serviceable by the tire industry that the public must rely on for safe operation of honda cars. *tt |
