Description of the problem	After purchasing a "certified pre-owned" 2011 odyssey mini-van from jack ellena honda in lawrence ks, we discovered that the captain's seats in the second row were either defective or not installed properly by the dealer. We discovered this when, 5 months later, we were involved in a collision and the captain's seats that hold our children came completely detached. Our son was thrown into the back of the driver's seat and suffered injuries to his face and body. Lacerations on his face and bruising on his body. We have concerns that either the captain's chairs in this model are defective or the certification process for pre-owned honda vehicles is either not followed by dealers or the process excludes installing the seats properly.
