Description of the problem | The honda sensing brake system seems to more annoying than helpful. Even adjusting the different sensor lengths isn't helping. Often, the car starts to brake when it is not needed. A few days ago a car in front of me decided to make a u-turn at a left turn arrow that said no u-turns. My car decided to slam on the brakes because they were a little in the way. It gets worse: i could not override the brakes when i stepped on the gas petal to move forward after the car was completely out of the way. I was stuck in place for longer than necessary. The car behind me almost hit me! I don't mind if the sensing system notifies me with beeps, bells, and whistles. Just don't brake for me! |
