Description of the problem2003 honda accord transmission failure, on 9/19 i was driving down the road at about 45 mph and my car shifted down to first gear, with the engine revved up to 3 rpm's. My car came to an abrupt holt and the car behind me had to run off the road to miss from hitting me. I have taken my car to the dealer, its the transmission. My car has 80,098 miles and should not be having transmission problems like this. There was a recall, but obviously it wasn't the right thing to fix the problem. I have seem over 200 cases just like me and i believe its going to have to take lives before something is done.
