Description of the problem | Dash has cracked from the passenger side airbag to the front of dash cap and along instrument cluster to the front of dash cap. This can easily cause a problem should the airbag go off. At this point i believe the center of the dash would shatter sending shrapnel to every direction inside the truck should the airbag go off or a collision. For me to replace this is going to cost $1000. 00 this is gmc's responsibility for poor engineering and poor quality. They should fix this before someone gets seriously hurt or killed! I shouldn't have to spend $1000. 00 on a $60,000. 00 truck because the dash isn't supported properly to keep from falling apart. Besides, why spend $1000. 00 on a new one when it's just going to crack again. Structural flaw!! |
