Description of the problem | Date 12/31/20 7:25am lexington ky i had just left work and was heading home northbound on i-75 toward georgetown exit #125 during a heavy rain. I can not recall using my max wiper interval speed before this incident. I was in the middle of three lanes with a speed around 50mph and my wipers stopped working! I was able to slowly transition lanes to pull over on the side of the interstate. Once the rain subdued some, i was able to evaluate the issue. I could hear the motor operating but the wipers were not moving. I could manually move the wipers freely with ease; therefore moved them down from the middle of the windshield. I was very fortunate that an accident did not occur! Extremely terrifying experience. |
