Description of the problem	On may 17th, 2020 i was driving down the highway going 60+ miles per hour and my windshield wipers were on as it was raining outside when then just stopped working. The wiper blades stayed up in the vertical position and rain was building on my windshield. Luckily i was able to pull over and did not crash my vehicle. I was able to easily push the blades down however could not drive again until the rain subsided as the wipers would not turn back on. When i returned home i checked the fuse for the front wiper blades and it was in tact and was not blown. In reading about what the issue could be with the vehicle it appears that this is a very common occurrence in this vehicle with it being an issue with the windshield wiper linkage system needing to be replaced. This was very scary and dangerous, thankfully it was only me in the car but had i had an accident, it could have seriously hurt others in a car. I do not understand how this has not been a recall for this vehicle when it clearly could kill someone.
