Description of the problem | I was driving down the interstate at night during a thunderstorm with extremly low visibility when, without notice, my windshield wipers abruptly stopped working. There were no prior warnings. I had to inch my way to safety to avoid being hit. The wipers will not come on, but a humming sound is detectable. The repair shop speculates that the problem is with the motor. |
