Description of the problem | While driving 70 mph on an interstate in flordia on vacation, in a rain storm our wipers quit working... My kids and family were in the car. My husband was driving and i had to hang out the window to stop traffic from passing us so we could get to the shoulder. We then had to wait for the rain to stop so we could make our way to the next exit. We got off the exit and made it to a gas station and a mechanic happened to be there and helped us figure it out. We than had to drive to the next exit to the parts store to get the part and fix it. The ball joint no longer stays in the bushing on the arm. Two weeks later the other bushing did the same thing and they stopped working again.. Canada has issued a recall already on this part back in 2016 & 2018... Recall number 2016318 and 2018137.. Why would canada issue a recall but not the united states!!!! Absurd!!! |
