Description of the problem | The plastic bushings used in the wiper linkage assembly are poor quality and regular use weakens them or they become corroded. The bushing connecting the wiper transmission to the rest of linkage assembly detached from itself while i was driving during a snow storm causing my windshield wipers to stop working completely, leaving me with no visibility. The car had to stay parked where it was until the weather cleared. |
