Description of the problem | Tl*the contact owns a 2004 ford taurus. The vehicle has 2007 goodyear assurance (na) tires. While driving 70 mph, the contact stated that one of the tires had tread separation and could not be balanced. Goodyear advised him to take the vehicle to the dealer; however, the contact stated that the dealer lied by stating that the wheel was the cause of the failure. He took the vehicle to two other wheel shops and they stated that the failure was not the wheel, but the tires. The current mileage was 88,100 and failure mileage was 75,000. Updated 04/28/08. *lj |
