Description of the problem | Tl* the contact owns a 2020 ford ranger. The contact stated that on three separate occasions while depressing the brake pedal, the vehicle accelerated forward unintendedly without warning. The contact was forced to turn off the vehicle to prevent the unintended acceleration from continuing. The contact had taken the vehicle to jack kain ford inc. (3405 lexington rd, versailles, ky 403830) three times and each time the dealer was unable to duplicate or diagnose the failure. The manufacturer was also notified of the failure and a case was filed. The vehicle had yet to be repaired and remained in the possession of the dealer. The failure mileage was approximately 1,400. |
