Description of the problem | While coming to a complete stop, the truck surges forward. It has happened 6+ times within 16,000 miles, every time it feels like i was just rear ended by the vehicle behind me. Fortunately, no accidents have occurred as a result of this. The unintended acceleration bumps the truck forward anywhere from 10 to 15 feet as i am slowing down. It happens from 5mph and under. The transmission was checked by the dealer but no issue was found. The truck is currently at a ford dealer for the second time for this issue. They are replacing the gas pedal. |
