Description of the problem | Rodents keep eating the wiring in the engine causing thousands of dollars in damage. This has happened twice in a two month span. I found information that ford uses plant based materials to coat the wiring and to make some of the hoses. I've tried different measures to prevent the rodents from damaging the wiring to no avail. This damage causes my electrical system to fail and knocked out my horn and other vehicle features. It doesn't seem fair and good business practice by ford to keep using these products and not to inform buyers about this issue. My wife owns a honda and her vehicle isn't touched by the rodents. |
