Description of the problem | I received notification from fordpass that my 2019 ranger was in deep sleep mode and that i needed to manually start it. I got into the vehicle and depressed the brake pedal as normal and pressed the start button. Many things happened simultaneously. Mostly lights flashing on the dash and eventually the headlights seemed to be sending morse code. But the engine barely responded at all. Later i hooked up a battery charger and when switched on the gauge bounced back and forth so fast it appeared to be an aircraft propeller. The vehicle was stationary in my driveway. |
