Description of the problem | Takata recall - i received a recall notice from ford in july 2016 stating that the passenger airbag inflator is defective and needs to be replaced. It is now august 2017 and the repair has still not been done. I contacted ford at 800-392-3673 (as advised by your representative dawn at 888-327-4236) and was told that my vehicle is included in "zone a" but that the parts are not yet available and there is no availability date. This is taking too long, and i am beginning to wonder if it will ever happen at all. |
