Description of the problem	Reporting a systemic manufactured fire condition. Right side exhaust [passenger side front] behind wheel well.. Exhaust is too close to the wiring a/c schrader port causing melting heat damage to wiring fender liner and port cap. On this vehicle the fender liner has a hole burnt into it as well the schrader cap is melted. This is a documented condition on the internet with actual fires on film. As well ford sent out a letter to approx 1300 owners about this exact problem in australia [ source sunshinecoast news article]. No action has been taken in us. This came to my attention during a routine tire change on 4-25-2019. The vehicle is available for inspection upon request by either ntsb or ford reps. The recommended repair might be some sort of heat shield reflector or other ideas? It is a serious problem i am advising of for major safety reasons. The vehicle was stationary at a repair shop when the problem was noticed.
