Description of the problem | My wife notice the brake lights were stuck one. Tired several different steps to see if the problem could be remedied. Such as starting the car, locking unlocking, nothing seem to care of the issue. After doing some research online on one of the mustang forums there were a few people that had the same issue. It seems that there is a little white plastic button on the brake lever that depresses the brake light switch. This seems to dry and crack and fall off the pedal assembly ,see attached photos. So instead of letting the car set all day and drain the battery i had my wife drive the car home. On the way home she experienced a running issue the car seem to shutter would not go above 30 to 40 miles an hour. Fortunately it was all side roads on the way home.
