Description of the problem | I recently bought the car to a close friend and as he already states to me before to buy a car there is a check engine light active, i went to a shop to find out what is wrong and the code alarm is p0456, small evaporators leak. An smoke test was performed and found out the gas tank has a blue fitting on top of it that is leaking out all the vapors. After the surprising new on a 2015 car i went by myself to inspect the fitting and find out the hose connection is good but the fitting coming out the tank has a crack allowing vapors to come out the tank and producing the alarm p0456. The alarm can be reset and after some days come back again. |
