Description of the problemThe mt-82 transmission in my mustang has become increasingly difficult to shift since purchase. Now with only 800 miles on the car, i find myself encountering daily incidents where i am unable to shift from 1st to 2nd or 2nd to 3rd without noticeable grind and resistance. I feel this is a safety issue because the problem obviously occurs while accelerating and the traffic behind me is probably not prepared for my car to slow down so much while i fight the shifter.
