Description of the problem | I own a 2007 mustang gt. It has less than 15 thousand miles on it. It has failed inspection (12/22/11) due to the driver side lower ball joint being worn out. The car is pulling and has a thumping noise. I contacted ford and they e-mailed me the following information: in the future, when the national highway traffic and safety administration (nhtsa) release a recall/customer satisfaction program on this particular component, you will be eligible for a refund if you already had the repairs completed and if not, you will be able to have the repair free of charge. Keep in mind that the nhtsa is the federal agency who is responsible to review this kind of programs. |
