Description of the problem | The transmission would not go into overdrive on the highway so i pulled over and then the automatic transmission had to be manually switched from gear to gear and then drove fine. The the vehicle starts doing the same thing after warming up. Now reverse and 3rd are out when the vehicle is warm. Ive had sensors bands and other things replaced. Everything short of a new transmission has been replaced. Now i cant find a transmission repair shop that will rebuild it due to so many problems with these transmissions they do not want to put a warranty on it. Please look into this problem. It needs to be a recall. Something is clearly defective or licensed technicians would repair them and wouldnt care to offer a warranty. My vehicle has had transmission problems off and on since 2017. This is ridiculous that all the complaints have not resulted in a recall. |
