Description of the problem | Every time you go to put fuel in the car, the pump will kick off like the fuel tank is full but it's not. Then the whole time you are trying to pump gas it will kick off probably 20 more times until you are done. This is been ongoing every since the car was purchased. What should be a five minute job to fill up your gas tank can take as much as 20 minutes. Ihad another 2007 ford mustang that did the very same thing but i ran off a low shoulder and part of the estimate was that i had to replace the gas tank and ironically i never had that issue again on that car. I owning 2 of this specific cars being of the same year make and model, i feel it's definitely a design or recall issue that needs to be addressed |
