Description of the problem	With cruise control set, pressing the + button and holding for a few seconds to increase the speed a few mile per hour will cause the vehicle to continue accelerating until the 'cancel' button or the 'off' button is pressed. Pressing the brake pedal will also stop the run away acceleration. During the run-away accelerating, pressing the + button or the - button will not stop the acceleration. Additionally, with cruise set, pressing the - button for a few seconds will cause a run-away deceleration. The vehicle is presently being looked at by the dealership where it was bought. In the mean time, i was given a 2019 fusion hybrid as a loaner vehicle and that cruise control does the same thing: run-away acceleration and deceleration when pressing the + or - button. The vehicle was checked many times and was cruising anywhere from 50 mph to 70 mph when the + and - button was pressed. I noticed that the run-away deceleration was quite pronounced compared to the acceleration.
