Description of the problem	I was driving a avis rental car - ford fusion 2019 in an interstate from chattanooga, tennessee to dalton, georgia on 5/1/2019 wednesday. I saw an error message on the screen all of a sudden (like communication error) and the engine just shut off, all lights turned off and seat started moving back. It was almost 15 - 20 seconds and i was terrified to just keep the car on middle lane and not to be hit by someone from behind. The guy who was in the passenger seat pushed the start button and it started and i managed to drive last 5 miles to reach hotel. I called avis roadside assistance and ask d them to register a complaint . I also informed the attendant when i returned the car at atlanta airport today.
