Description of the problem	"steering loss" , "service advancetrac" and "hill start assist not avail" indicator on dash came on at around 94,000 miles while driving on the highway with no prior mechanical issues or indicators of mechanical failure. Luckily i was able to steer (very difficult/steering wheel stiff) off the roadway. Visual inspection of vehicle shows no damage to mechanical components. I believe electric power steering component or sensor is causing system to lock up and could have very well ended very badly for me and my family.
