Description of the problem	Tl* the contact owns a 2014 ford fusion. While the vehicle was parked, the contact attempted to place the gear into park; however, the gear shifter failed to engage. The contact had to break the plastic gear shifter mechanism to place the gear into park. The vehicle was towed to malloy ford of winchester (1911 valley avenue, winchester, va 22601, (540) 667-4434) and the gear shifter clutch was replaced. The repair did not correct the failure. A few weeks later, the contact was unable to shift gears. The vehicle was towed back to the same dealer where it was diagnosed that the transmission's front clutch slipped and the transmission needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was contacted and stated that the vehicle was not included in nhtsa campaign number: 18v471000 (power train) and nhtsa campaign number: 18v169000 (power train). The failure mileage was 195,000.
