Description of the problem | Was driving down the highway at 60-65 mph when suddenly car jerked and lost all acceleration power. The rpms were stuck (not going up or down) and car began to slow down. The wrench light came on. I had to pull to the side of the highway to avoid getting hit. Tried putting the car in park and back into drive, but it started shaking, so had to turn off the car, let it sit for a few minutes and re-start the car. It drove normally after re-start, however this was the second occurrence in one week and am now scared to drive it long distances or on the highway. Ford needs to fix this issue before someone gets hurt! |
