Description of the problem | Smelled gas and saw leak from top of tank down side of tank by passenger side rear wheel. Mechanic dropped the tank and said a split occurred on a seam through no fault of corrosion. He believes it to a manufacturer defect. All the vehicles i have owned never had a leaking gas tank from corrosion or otherwise. |
