Description of the problem | Without warning the car lost all ability to accelerate. This occurred several times over the course of two days, sometimes at speeds up to 70 mph. The car jerks, wrench light comes on, and there is no power from the gas pedal. A/c and radio work fine. After navigating thru traffic without power, we turn car off and back on, and it's good to go. But for how long? Could be very dangerous, recall is necessary. Dealer says 2010 fusions are "notorious" for this throttle body problem and charged $502 to correct it. |
