Description of the problem | Tl* the contact owns a 2010 ford fusion. The contact was driving 60 mph when the vehicle began to decelerate independently. The contact shut off the vehicle, and the vehicle regained normal operation once restarted. The contact stated that the failure was recurring and would be experienced several times throughout any given day. The vehicle was taken to the dealer who advised that the mass air flow sensor needed to be replaced. The repair was performed but did not permanently correct the failure.
