Description of the problem | Takata recall i received the recall for my vehicle along with a call and text message. I attempted to contact several dealerships near me to get a rental vehicle until the parts are in to repair the recall. All of them told me they have a 3 month+ waiting list or they just would never call me back. I called ford and they coordinated with a dealership to supposedly get me a rental vehicle in 2 weeks. I asked if i am just supposed to continue driving the vehicle in the meantime with my toddler in the car knowing the airbag could explode and they said yes. I asked if there was another rental option such as reimbursement for a rental company but they said no. At this time i was told to continue driving the recalled vehicle despite risks. |
