Description of the problem | Takata recall ford sent us a letter telling us to go to our ford dealer and the ford was to authorize them to provide us a free rental car; all of which seems to mean the issue is very serious. However, all the dealer is doing is taking names, addresses, and information. They refuse to tell us when we might get repair parts or a rental vehicle. Capital ford lincoln and mercury of wilmington (nc)'s service writer told me that they couldn't "just send us down to enterprise to get a car." when i asked why not, he shrugged. Ford has been selling new cars and i presume they have air bags in them. All of which makes me feel ford didn't think our lives are worth diverting parts from new cars to fix the ones they dropped the ball on in the first place. Will you please do whatever you can to get us help? It would surely be appreciated. |
