Description of the problem | Takata recall: about two years ago i received a recall notice from ford. No remedy to date and calls to the local dealer are not fruitful. Yesterday i got a safety recall that said "remedy parts" would be available in spring 2018 and until then i should not use the front passenger seat. Now the car is less usable for my family and it cannot be sold. I expect a better remedy than "don't use our product" until we can repair it. I suggest that every owner affected should be given a loaner car until their car is repaired and safe to use. Too many years have gone by. Ford is just stonewalling the problem and should be held accountable today. |
