Description of the problem | Takata recall i received a letter from the ford motor company on july 2016 stating that the passenger frontal airbag inflator may rupture in the event of a crash necessitating airbag deployment. A ruptured inflator may result in metal fragments striking vehicle occupants causing serious injury or death. Since this is alarming information i have called the ken grody dealer in buena park, ca on 7-30-16, 12-8-16 and 9-6-17 inquiring if the parts are available yet to fix my 2006 ford fusion. I was informed that the parts are not available yet. So my question is when will these parts be available from ford so the recall can be fulfilled? Injury or death is not acceptable for a slow moving ford co. To respond to people that bought this car. |
