Description of the problem | Rear driver's side door latch failed, causing door to pop open - the latch has a recall, but only through 2005 - same latch is used. The door will now not close at all. I had the same issue on my 2003 focus. Car has less than 70000 miles on it. If there was ever a safety issue needing a recall, it is doors popping open on their own. |
