Description of the problem | Tl* the contact owns a 2014 ford flex. The contact stated that the seat belts were easy for other occupants to wrap in positions that could serious injury or death. The contact stated that the child occupants were able to wrap the seat belts around their waists and, after the pretensioner tightened, wrapped around the neck on one of the occupants and tightened too tight around the waist of the other. One of the seat belts had to be cut. The vehicle was not taken to an independent mechanic to be diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure.
