Description of the problem | I've had my fuel pump replaced twice and it cost me $970. $830 for fuel pump and $140 for battery that died as a result of the fuel pump issue. I don't get how my car, with a real malfunction, not something that "may" happen, isn't being included in the fuel pump recall. I was driving when it happened. I could've been seriously injured or my children. My fuel pump malfunctioned and the replacement one they put in also malfunctioned. Now, since they've installed the 2nd fuel pump, my car has an overwhelming smell of gas, which appears to be leaking from my vehicle. On 07/11, i had to get a second replacement pump, due to the first one failing. |
