Description of the problem	My battery went dead on 5/26/20, it was unable to be jumped off at auto zone. I bought a new battery for $108. After installing my dash appeared transmission malfunction service now, prior to this i had no issues other than my purge control valve has went out twice. I called the dealership and he immediately stated the battery dying caused the transmission control module to burn out and that it is a common issue. He said my vehicle should have been included in a recall/extended warranty but my vintage was not included and he wasn't sure why. He said it would be a $600 fix to reach out to ford motor company about including my vehicle which they refused after calling twice. I was at auto zone when this happened to have my battery tested because 3 times in the last month i have had trouble starting my car. I called jenkins and wynn in clarksville tn as well as ford motor company recall customer relations twice. bfjb
