Description of the problem | I turned on rear defroster. I drove for 5-10 minutes and parked. I then heard a loud popping sound and saw that the rear passenger glass panel had cracked like a spider web on the inside. I felt the glass and it was warm. I searched the internet to see if this was a common problem and found that many people have had this exact problem: http://www. F150forum. Com/f38/exploding-rear-window-145329/ my local ford dealership doesn't want to cover it even though ford appears to have covered it for many others. I have filed a complaint with ford corporate and am awaiting response from my local dealership. |
