Description of the problem | Began to notice rough shifting a lower speeds (30 - 45) at about 12,000 miles. Over time it became more pronounced and feels like the engine is lugging at this speed. The transmission causes a shudder when shifting up or down as if the transmission is having a problem getting into gear. Left the truck at the dealer for 3 days and they told me they could not replicate the problem. I think the streets they were driving were so rough that they couldn't feel the shudder. I was told that it may be a problem the computer is having synchronizing the fuel system and the engine rpm's. Don't know about that but the problem still exists at 20,000 miles now. |
