Description of the problem | 2008 f150 when you depress the brake and your foot is on the right side of the pedal it will go down pass the acc. Pedal and sometimes causing you to depress both pedals. This has happened to me more than once and can be the cause of an accident if you are in close quarters. If this happens the engine will out pull the effect of the brakes. I took the vehicle to alan vigil ford in morrow ga and they say that nothing is wrong with it. When this happens i can see why some people run over things even though they say they are on the brake. With todays technology i would think that they could correct this by adjusting the brake when being depressed from going down lower than the accelerator. |
