Description of the problem | On the f-150 trucks from years ranging 2004-2009 the power windows are failing due to a plastic piece that holds the cable in place. Once this plastic piece breaks and the weight of the glass cause it to fall into the door. The issue is this, if the plastic piece is all that keeps this window up, it is not long until car thieves find out that all they need to do is put enough pressure down ward on any of the windows and cause it to break. This issue is all over the internet, and ford dealership are acknowledge that this is a problem, but ford seems to think other wise. |
