Description of the problem | Passenger side electric window on our 2005 ford f-150 supercab simply fell down while my wife was working. We rarely use the passenger window at all. I have read a plethora of such occurrences on www. Carcomplaints. Com. I feel this is a safety issue. The windows can fall at any time - even when the vehicle is parked. Imagine being broken down in a very frigid place and trying to stay warm and bang - a window simply falls down. This should warrant an immediate recall. The parts that fail are cheap plastic clips used to guide cables with a lot of torque/tension on them. Thank you very much. Ronnie pierce |
