Description of the problem | This has happened two times now. While driving, i hear loud pop or bang and then the window will fall into the door. This has happened on the passenger side and drivers side. This nearly caused an accident because i thought someone was shooting at me. It startled me quite badly. Ford should be required to issue a recall on these window regulators. Parts are available to repair, but the repair does not permanently fix the problem. This is dangerous because most people cover the window with plastic while waiting for the repair. If they can't afford the repair they may drive around for weeks or months with a plastic window that completely blocks visibility. |
