Description of the problem | On september 20, 2010, the window regulator failed abruptly while i was driving my 2005 ford f150 at 55 mph. The front passenger window fell into the door without warning. On october 13, 2010, the rear driver's side window failed in the same fashion. Both incidents struck me as very dangerous with a comparably high probability to cause an accident. After this last incident, i reviewed the numerous websites dedicated to this issue and the concern expressed by many drivers that ford has refused to respond to what is clearly a grave safety hazard. Why has nhtsa not addressed this issue? . |
