Description of the problem | I have had issues with a "clunk" sound when the window rolls all the way up. Today as the window went up there was an even louder "clunk" sound and then the window slowly sunk back into the door. It was so loud that it sounded as if the glass itself broke causing me to flinch away. Luckily there were no injuries associated with it. The problem is with the window regulator. Apparently there are hundreds/thousands of complaints of similar issues with the 2004/2005 models. When i called the ford dealership and described the problem they immediately knew what it was and said that it was common. |
