Description of the problem | Tl* the contact owns a 2005 ford f-150. The contact was driving approximately 65 mph when he heard a loud noise in the door. After a gust of wind hit him, he realized that the window fallen down into the door panel unexpectedly. The vehicle was inspected by the owner who noticed that the control for the window was fractured, causing the window to fall. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was contacted and they offered no assistance. The failure mileage was approximately 52,000. Updated 04/11/12*lj the consumer stated he replaced the window regulator on his own.
