Description of the problem | Dt: 2005 ford f150. When reversing then going forward the vehicle surges forward. It feels like the cruise control kicks in and it is hard to stop. Took the vehicle to the dealership at least 7 times. He talked to a different manager each time. The consumer almost went off of a cliff. This happened the first time the day of purchase. He took the vehicle back the following monday and the dealership reprogrammed the chip in the accelerator. The problem recurred. The dealership stated they could not duplicate the problem. He has called ford, and after they contacted the engineers, he was told there was nothing they could do. He would have to take it back to the dealership. It has happened at 7 times.*ak |
